The author’s perspective is interesting but not always accurate, in my opinion, as to what white people are thinking! It’s what SHE thinks they are thinking. If I see a white man w a black woman, I don’t think, “Why her?” or that it is “a great tribal loss”. The couple might be noticeable but nobody gives it any thought. Do they??
