So far, it's an interesting mix of either pipe-dreaming about what the American system of realpolitik could look like then writing a story in that world (this isn't entirely a bad thing, as that's where West Wing comes from), and Taite using jargon like "mandate" and "nuclear option" without explaining what they mean.
