I didn'to finish the second book nor try the third book. The first one was good, but talk about cookie cutter. The second one started out to basically be the same and the first one. Just different characters and circumstances. Someone kidnaps someone, warns not to tell police; killer gives clues, etc. Same angst, same decisions to be made. No thanks.
