Is this going to be one of those colorism books? She's light so she's pretty. I'm dark so I'm ugly. MAYBE I can see past ALL of the children having blue eyes (something rare for even for two white parents). I tried to get past her envying her possible sister for having straightish hair. It's hard however to listen to Tiffany warn the woman about her natural hair "cutting" her. I get it, she's insecure but damn...
