The protagonist is joey because he feels his dad wants to murder him but he cant speak or let anyone know because of his tragic disability. The antagonist would be his father because he is well aware that his son cannot speak, so he comes to the conclusion that he should murder his son because he "hates" him.

He sees a lot and he hears the best of everyone, he thinks about everything. He knows whats happens and what will.His dad is out to get him and he knows, beacuse of good hearing !
