the main character has developed a kink for her partner to recite poetry while she's going down on him, and like... i can dig it

I’m so enthralled in this already. I already loved McBride’s offbeat half-prose, but this is even more starkly beautiful in its approach than in her debut. The plot is far more engaging that I assumed, too.
