Taking this slowly but I love it so much. Everyone seems to dislike the Council of Elrond chapter but I love it! It just shows how much history and depth Tolkien created

I'm absolutely loving this. I'm reading really slowly as it is a reread and we've been moving house but I'm enjoying it more than I have the previous three times!

O the joys of Tom Bombadil....my least favourite part of the series. I'm looking forward to the rest of the journey, and to be honest Tom Bombadil is annoying me less so far this time....maybe I'll grow to like him?

Nothing better than getting lost in Middle-earth on the commute to work :)
