I hadn’t a clue what to expect upon opening this recommendation, but ready to leap into the second! Breathtaking peril, depth of character and dialogue bringing life to the plot, the time and the people living the story. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Characters have more depth than I’d imagined. I’m enjoying absorbing their tales, woes and wins. Written in such a way I feel as though I could run into any of them on the road (in the Highlands, of course).

Intriguing story line. Looking forward to seeing how this works out.
