Already I'm torn about this book. I love Horowitz's writing and the Alex Rider series was one of my favourites as a kid. However, he's written himself into this book and he's just so full of himself. I don't know if this is on purpose or genuine. I feel like the literary hero of my childhood is crumbling before me, but I can't put it down as I want to know what happens!
