Great book, the emotional complexity, the depth of the characters and their interactions is all high quality writing. One just wishes for more explosions or for someone to go apeshit (and not emotionally like Louis).

This novel requires you to take a leap of faith with it, but sure enough it's unfurling like a beautiful tapestry. Damn Woolf writes beautiful, but not meretricious prose.
