He was generally perfectly charming and gentlemanlike but every so often he would blurt out the strangest things!
This heroine is starting to annoy me. She keeps labeling the hero as "odd" & "deranged" because he's asking her questions about herself & she's acting like he's a homicidal lunatic who is going to stab her. Yes he proposed a marriage of convenience. It's rash but not crazy, lady! Calm down.

I like the set up of this. Lonely "spinster" heroine accidentally getting a job as a governess for a grieving desperate father of a little girl. But Natalie's hang up on her new boss being her neighbor is a little bit much and silly for me. And getting all hysterical in front of the kid too? Girl. Her character is a little consistent for me already.
