Chapter Summary 5:
In this chapter the audience gets to see our characters first love interest. This is done when Helen and Dotty are gossiping about Rose behind her back. Rose overhears everything about how she was apparently obsessive with a friend of hers back in the orphanage. Despite Rose saying they were only friends it’s obvious to the reader that they were more then that.
