Status Update

Chris McGrath is 45% done

I'm surprised how much this doesn't read like a King novel. Very plot-focused, no meandering into the lives of the characters, not set in Maine... I could just as easily believe I was reading a Jeffery Deaver novel if not for the sexual stuff (of which there isn't a ton so far, but what's there is a bit explicit and disturbing).

Definitely a good story and believable characters.

I take it back, it got pretty dark for a bit there. Still nice and tight though. Choosing to ignore the blatant wish fulfillment of an aging man in some of the events as they relate to the protagonist.
