First case expose the observations of a patient suffering from visual agnosia due to PCA. Her presentation is similar to that of patient Dr. P who mistook his wife for a hat. He, in fact, also suffered from visual agnosia, but also from tactile agnosia (hence the 'mistake'). There are similarities and differences in their presentation. There are correlations with Alzheimer's on MRI analysis.
