The book was good overall. I feel like you get a feeling of more disconnect that Dexter has with others around him with the books rather the show. The series might be tough to read espically of you're a huge fan of the show and like that plot more than this plotline.

Not surprising but the book is better than the show and definitely different in some areas. Definitely a good read for those that are a fan of the show.
