I liked it, but would probably like the movie better. And I'm certain there will be a movie soon, as the book seems written for this purpose. I expected a ghost story, and I was a bit disappointed to realize that it wasn't. But to my surprise, I found the story quite entertaining as it unfolded. I loved all the strange, old photographs, and the concept of building a story around them. Just waiting for the film now.
