In the the book the narrator talks about their life in Afghanistan, as a kid. Then he talks about some of the people in his life and continues to give some characteristics through out the story. Amir talks about the lessons he learned as a child, what problems him and Hassan. Amir and Hassan been through a lot together, and loved to hang out at their favorite tree. Then Hassan later encouraged Amir to writing.
