Totally bored at this point, but gonna try to slog it out at least to the end of this volume before writing on the series. This happens to me often, get recommended a series by multiple people who love it and I just don't see what there is to love.

Pretty good so far, but also odd that it goes from being a pretty serious story about an assassin to a Pratchett-like world of the dwarves where everything is ridiculous. Not that I minded, just unexpected.
