Leon Leyson is a Jewish boy growing up in the 1940s. Everything was normal for him until a little while after him and his family moved to Krakow. Then, he started to get mistreated due to his religion; he lost his new friends, teachers started to pick on him, and restrictions on public transportation. Soon things escalated, they got their radio taken away, as well as their father, their jobs until it was just Leon.
