I'm very curious to find out where this novel is heading. It's a good book, but I can't say I've figured out what's the point we're driving toward.

Daniel is 99% done

I just finished it, but I need to sleep on it before I say anything final. Right now I'm amazed and annoyed at this novel.

Daniel is 25% done

It took a bit to get going while it set up the main character and situation, but it delivered a nice surprise when it introduced the alien race.
