A psychological thriller. The book revolved around a character Raskolnikov, who murders a pawnbroker. He justifies the murder by arguing for a better society. But soon starts, the conflict within him. He psychologically disturbed and face dilemma with friends, family, and society. The Book also gives a very clear picture of 1880's picture of socialist USSR and different ideas during those time.
