look i like the book, but there are few things that grate more on my nerves than authors trying to use a language not their own and failing. In this case it's a matter of basic spelling, not even grammar or sentences. It's not "marquesa", it's "marchesa". It's not "Il Viattoriale", it's "Il Vittoriale". Stuff you can literally check on wikipedia or google. i hate sloppy work like this.

IT'S CALLED RAPE. I CAN FORGIVE NOT CALLING HEMINGWAY FOR HIS HOMOPHOBIA AND MISOGYNY (not really) BUT NOT THIS. YOU HAVE YOUR WORDS. USE THEM.

it's spelled misogyny
