Owen’s lover on Earth, Emily, arrives in Elsewhere, with the expectations that she would once again start a relationship with Owen. But he is conflicted as well, because he is slowly falling in love with Liz, who is starting to get nervous. So far, Emily seems like a nice and understanding person, but I am yet to see how she actually acts when she finds out about Owen and Liz.

Liz and Owen are developing feelings for each other, but at this moment, Owen is a littl hesitant. Suddenly, Owens love on earth, Emily, is dead! So Liz is scared of what is to come.

Liz meets a guy named Owen, and eventually starts having feelings for him. She lets him take care of the dog that she was first introduced to at her new job. As of now in the book, Owen is telling Liz about his past, and how his old girlfriend was a doctor on earth;her name was Emily. Liz is scared that he seems to really love her.

Today, I read more as well. Liz gets caught diving into the well, which is apparently illegal.When Liz is at her grandma Betty’s, she tries to comfort Liz and suggests that to come to terms with her death, she should make a list of all the things she misses back on earth, and one by one look at them and accept that she can never have them again, apparently it helped for Betty.

Yesterday(Saturday), I read a little more. In elsewhere, there is a well. It’s called the Well, and if you dive into it, which isn’t allowed, you can contact people on earth. Liz, being how she is and not coming to terms with her death, feels the need to do this and goes ahead with it. She actually does manage to communicate with her brother, and inform him on a present she had kept for her dad before she died.

I have gotten to the part of the book where she finally goes and meets her acclimation officer, which basically means he’s the one who helps her with her job, and she is thinking of a job to take when she is there in elsewhere. Meanwhile she learns about a lot of people’s past and how they got to elsewhere

This is really interesting to me so far. It revolves around the afterlife, so a little fantasy is present, but the author gives really clear input on their beliefs. Liz, the girl who died, just figures out she has died and her grandma Betty takes her in and starts introducing her to this place called elsewhere, and Liz learns that here, people age backwards until they become a baby and are sent back to earth.

So far, this book is very interesting. I have always wanted to read this book and now that I have started to I'm excited to continue. So far, the main character Liz, has died in a car accident and been sent to an afterlife, but doesn't realize it yet. She thinks it is a dream but also has doubts about the things surrounding her, and is yet to find out her misery.
