If I had known how much LitRPG material was in this book, I wouldn't have bought it. Other than having to skip a crap load of game material which yanks me out of the story, the writing is excellent with engaging characters. Book opens with action and has good pacing so far. Not sure that I will read more of this author's works as I really dislike the LitRPG elements; otherwise a great trashy pulp SciFi book.
