Enjoyed the first two chapters to date. I've envisioned the characters as my two beloved dogs. My young pup is of course Stephan Dedalus. My seasoned and confident Basset Hound is Buck Mulligan and will soon take the role of Leopold Bloom. He also loves to poop and eat so it's a natural. Might also add I am taking an online course to better understand this challenging work.

I've survived and thrived all Ullysean challenges Joyce has put forth for me. Alas, I have just completed the longest chapter of them all by far. Only three chapters remain until I can call myself a worthy Bloomsday celebrant.

It's past 8pm on Bloomsday so the end of this arduous, yet thoroughly rewarding literary adventure is drawing nigh. Objective remains to finish by Bloomsday (16 Jun) and celebrate with like-minded intellectuals in Brooklyn, Chicago, Dublin or Philly.
