Alright, I NEVER update these things during the course of reading a book. But I just finished "Becoming", the first of the two novellas included, and damn. It takes a lot to gross me out as a reader. But Glenn Rolfe does body horror like Nick Cutter does body horror like David Cronenberg does body horror! The descriptions in Rolfe's stuff dig at the core of me. And he wears his influences on his sleeve here, respect!
