Arthur and Ford have finally found the question to the ultimate answer, which is "What do you get if you multiply six by nine?" The answer should be 42 but that makes no sense. They meet up with two aliens and Arthur starts talking how Ford talked to him when they first met back up, with cryptic doom and Vogon express lanes. Still makes no sense but shows character progression through Arthur being more like Ford.

After finding Zarniwoop, Zaphod finds out that he has had he heart of gold (his spaceship) inside his pocket the whole time. Then after regrouping with Ford and Arthur, they figure out they left Marvin behind when they went to the Restaurant at the end of the universe 62 billion years ago. The book still continues to surprise me with all the unexpected twists and conspiracies.

Many weird things have happened from finding an alien inside a pocket universe to finding the restaurant at the end of the universe. Though its been getting harder and harder to follow what the book is even going on about anymore, its still a fascinating read.

After a get together with a depressed robot, a sassy computer, and Arthur’s failed love interest, they come across the legendary planet Magrathea, a planet that creates other planets, they are shot down and are currently being held hostage by mice that want to find the question to everything by extracting Arthur’s brain. Its getting alot more unpredictable and sometimes I get lost reading the story.

After the Earth blows up Arthur and Ford get caught in a vogon spaceship and are about to be executed by vogon poems, and the vacuum of space. They are about to die yet the improbability drive powered ship catches them. And by random chance it was Fords cousin Zaphod. What a wierd book, never know whats coming up and that whats make it so fun to read.

So far we get introduced to a cheeky narrator and, a soon to be homeless, Arthur Dent. After Mr. Prosser decided to build a bypass right through Arthur’s home. Later Ford Perfect, an alien sent to earth and associate to Arthur lends him a hand. The story so far takes a more cynical approach to human society and seems to break the fourth wall frequently which can be humorous but sometimes repetitive. So far it’s Okay.
