Selena Kitt wrote a book called Falling Down that I enjoyed very much despite the tough subject matter. This story is similar, with more drawnout characters and a more detailed story. It's painful to visualize how many abused and hurt children there are, and how they cope & endure. The bullying that's being portrayed in the HS & the ineffectiveness of society - wow, pretty depressing.
But, very well-written.
