Striking: the people creating convenience foods are not in the same target market as those consuming them. They maximize the amounts of fat, salt, and sugar in order to sell more to consumers -- "it's what kids want!" -- while knowing the nutritional profile is terrible, and isn't something they would put in their own bodies.
