Y’ALL THIS BOOK IS SO INCREDIBLE, I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT. The writing is so gorgeous, and I am adoring all of our main characters......also I love how we get such a thorough explanation of the origins of the magic in this book, it’s so in-depth and detailed that you get such an incredible understanding of these people and their connection to their gods. I can’t put this down!!!

I am absolutely adoring this so far!! Such detail and depth has gone into this, and I am totally hooked. I can tell Zélie is going to be one of my most favorite heroines I have ever read about; her perseverance, bravery, and all-around badassery is awe-inspiring. Can’t wait to see where this story takes us!!
