All right, we're at the halfway point here...shall we get the battle going already?

"Honor" in war is a strange concept. It seems arbitrary to impose (or, at least, to applaud) minor restrictions on killing (e.g., "He was so brave--let him retreat with honor") when your stated objective is to annihilate your opponent. I suppose it's a necessary intellectual construct to help your brain cope with the fact that you're killing people for no rational reason (well, not sufficiently rational reason).

I know that the great Geddy Lee once sang, “Show, don’t tell!”...but, this is some pretty effective telling. The style suits the story well.
