I'm one of those people who believes the unnamed Robin from the Teen Titans cartoons is Tim Drake and not Dick Grayson. They used Tim's costume and bō staff, yes, but also his personality. Reading this has only solidified that opinion. For one, comic Tim was always uneasy around girls in a way ladies-man Dick never was. Frankly, the Tim/Cassie dynamic is the only intriguing aspect of this rather vanilla story.

I'm back to comics for a bit. I chose this for the sole reason that I've been reading about mythical titans all year in Wonder Woman and Percy Jackson, so why not continue the theme, tenuous as it is. I appreciated Scott Lobdell's Red Hood for what it was: with all its surreality, superficiality and sexual innuendo. He wrote this at the same time. But then this is Teen Titans, so...
