So far, things have been very confusing. It would have been helpful if the author had done the first chapter as a prologue and then stated ‘x-amount of months/years later’ in the first chapter. It’s taken some time (and going back to the first chapter) to see how everyone is connected. It seems to jump around a lot. I think having the chapters labeled would have helped also.
