Charlie is the main character of this book along with some of her other friends, John, Jessica, and Clay. Charlie's father made four animatronic animals to entertain young audience, but one animatronic which was never seen before took Charlie's brother. It has been a few years since that event, and now Charlie comes face to face with some new animatronics. The Twisted Ones. Charlie thinks these things are the cause.

... They went over to her trying to free her, there was a click. Then the suit leaped in the air and made thousands of cracking sounds then the suit dropped and it was still. John ran to the suit that Charlie was still in and her hand was limb. John kept saying her name but no answer. Jessica then pointed out the blood. John was confused until he saw it. Charlie was dead. Everyone cried saying she died for nothing.

Freddy caught Charlie and pulled her inside its torso. Her friends were doing the best they can to free her. The twisted Freddy swung its arm around trying to pry them back but John held Charlie's hand tightly as she did the same. Layers of metal rods blocked her sit of view. Charlie said, "Don't let me go!" When the twisted Freddy swung his arm at John he let go of her hand and he jolted back.Then the robot settled

She was wrong. She comes across an old "friend" from those years ago. She yelled at him asking, "Why him! Where is he!" But he didn't want her brother he wanted her. Her anger settled. He said she took something from him. She ran and they thought they had escaped, but no. Later one they run through winding tunnels and hallways and end up in Charlie's dad's house. Just when they thought they were safe, a twisted......
