While reading about the simulations that they have to go through while learning about camouflage techniques, I was left intrigued because the challenges sounded fun, not brutally painful like the rest.

The instructors at BUD/S seem ruthless. They were all molded with discipline in the same way, by going through one of the most physically and mentally demanding military courses in the world. It is impossible to become a Navy Seal without completing this brutal training.

I'm already intrigued in this book because of learning about the tough, disciplinary, yet beneficial lifestyle that Marcus Luttrell had as a kid. It is easy to realize that he had developed the traits of a Navy Seal way before he enlisted.

I chose to read this book because I've watched interviews of Marcus Luttrell explaining his situation, and realized that reading his story in the depth of an entire book would be far more interesting. I also haven't read a book before seeing it's movie, so I thought this would be a good time to do so.
