I was thinking how dumb the whole Maze task was. GoF has the weakest plot in terms of the number of glaring holes in it. Why is no one overseeing what's happening in the maze? They put deadly magic inside it but are like, "meh, it's not like we have flying broomsticks to hover above and see that our champions are safe. We'll just see who comes out alive. If they don't, tough luck."

Still entertaining, and I love it.

How Rowling was able to leave that in the book and how Ron got off without any repercussions is beyond me.

The joke, the intention of putting it there and the followup of the joke are inconsistent AF.

They made a big deal of muggles seeing a flying car in London. But now that we have a car flying in the fucking space, thanks to Elon Musk, I think seeing a car in the sky isn't that much of an oddity.



It is more plausible that someone has invented a flying car than that no one in London has seen people running into an effing wall in the train station and disappearing. :D :D

God, the quidditch world cup in the book reminds me of my childhood when I used to play the Warner Bros and EA games on my computer. I remember playing the quidditch world cup game a lot. And the dedicated games for each book. I think I played only the first 3 games and then gave up playing the 4th when I was failing to overcome a particular level. Lord, the memories! I'm old, fuck!

In my opinion, this is the weakest book of the series unfortunately, what will all the awesomeness of Dragons, Quidditch World Cup and Triwizard tournament.
