The book takes place in a island of of Mexico, and a doctor who went to the island, as soon as she got there had to take care of a injured man, whose fellow workers say he was ran over by a machine, and she could see he wasn't. Then later a little girl was on a beach, and saw a lizard, that tore her arm up, and a doctor treated her wounds. Then it went to a lab, and the scientists didn't know what it is.

Since the last time I read, Grant had found a note book and saw lots of job lists that people have, and land that is open and have electrical fences.Then Mr. Hammond had taken his bio engineered elephant to his meeting to show how bio engineering can be interesting. Then later on this guy named Gennaro had been arguing with Malcolm about InGen. They were talking about how thing can be unpredictable.

Since I have read this one guy who works for the Natural History Museum,and is in is trailer, when a guy named Morris comes and gives him a job offering for information on dinosaurs. Then after they talked, the guy had a phone call about Morris, and the questions he asked. After that he had to talk to people about the place he said he would work for, and they asked questions about the guy he works for.
