You can't go back in time to fix something. If Mircea went back in time to help his brother, then he wouldn't have to go back in time to help his brother. Chance sort of gets around the paradox, but it was sloppy. I'm feeling like this is a high 2-star or low 3. I'll round up for now but see how I feel after I sleep on it and write a review.

Ok, now Pritkin reminds me of Richard when he's preachy and annoying. Ugh. Not fun. And also it seems like Chance is pulling the whole lets explain something to the readers and then a page later explain it to a character. Lame. The info dumps are annoying too, although I was prepared for those. The comparisons to LKH's characters and bad writing habits are disappointing though.
