Jim Elliott's resolve to serve Christ is impressive. The testament to Christ that is Jim Elliot's testimony is shown through a collection of his journal entries and letters to loved ones with his wife interjecting to provide context. Overall, the story is encouraging, but his language is a little dry because it is written in a early 1900's version of English. This personally makes it a slower read for me.
