Holy crap was that part of the book with the creepy truck guy necessary?! Jeesus I was not prepared for that. And this book has been really good so far, but that didn't jar well with me.

that scene with the pulpit. A little awkward. Was it necessary? I feel like even with Eve's POV she's just an empty shell of a character. Love Elijah though, and Jacob. I wouldn't mind a book from Elijah's POV.
