I am a sports person, but I enjoyed watching Villanova vs. Seton Hall basketball much more than I would have watching football. Our family is boycotting the NFL, anyway.

Although my family is not big one sports, we did watch the season finale of American Ninja Warrior off Hulu. Now that was fun!

Yeah....no idea who those teams are. Basketball is not my strong suit. Like, out of the sports I don't watch, I don't watch basketball the most! Lol! I have probably seen more golf than basketball! ;)

Oh! Yes! I've seen bits and pieces of ANW. It's a lot of fun. Some of the things people do on there are just crazy!

Lol! I'm rooting for them too! Like I said, I'm not a sports person, but I like the Patriots well enough. Had the Packers been in the Superbowl that's who we would have been rooting for-their the family favorite-but since they aren't most of us want the Patriots to win.

Dude, I've seen some of the commercials, and they were HILARIOUS.

Go Eagles!

Our family watches some football (although we don't appreciate the anthem thing), and my team is the Denver Broncos. My brother's a huge Green Bay fan. I'm going for the Eagles, partly because I like them, and partly because I don't like the Patriots.

I'm not super into football, but if I can find a reason to root for one of the team's I can enjoy the game along with the commercials. One of the Eagles players is a divinity student at my alma mater, so been rooting for them, and they just won, so YAAAAAAAAY! 🎉🎉🎉

No, I was an online student and he actualy is too if I understand correctly. What I know about him is from the articles my university posted about him. :)

Yes. Often they have funny, unique ones on during the Superbowl. Plus trailers for movies. It's kind of unique to the Superbowl only-any other time I don't like commercials! :P

Yeah, I always view commercials as interruptions and use them for reading time!

The commercials this year were eh, though.

I actually thought the commercials were pretty good this year. I mean, I'm sure it comes down to personal taste, and there were some that got on the preachy side, but the majority, at least for me, were pretty funny, and some actually touching, like the one with the Martin Luther King Jr. speech in the background. I'm also pleased I don't remember one single "sex-sells" type ad, which I figure they realized would not be the best idea with all the stuff going on in our culture right now.

Well, I was rooting for the Eagles anyway, because 1, who really likes the Patriots (Oh... apparently some of you do... :P), and 2, the Eagles have a lot of Christians on their team.

And I, the ever basketball fan, thinks, "Oh, cool. Two Philadelphia teams win on the same day."

Yeah, and I like Butler, Villanova, Duke, and Ohio State. So we'll have our respective favorite teams, and leave it at that. :P

@Gabriellyn- It's not that they win all the time. I just don't have a particular fondness for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. :P (For me, it's all about the people)

Well, I can understand that. I don't have any problems with the actual Eagles players themselves, but I heard their fans were just awful when they played against the Vikings. Yelling insults, throwing Viking fans hats in the urinals, cussing out babies wearing Vikings fan gear. Ugh. So utterly ridiculous.

Ugh, that is awful. I can't say I like any fans. Sometimes I have to exclude the fans as a reason why I like/dislike a team, because every team has one. But yes, fans are so annoying!
