tonight i started thinking “abby can solve cases via dreams now?” and feeling thrown from the story for that choice, to thinking “get that condor girl!” to “oh shit abby :(“

i can’t believe i feel for everyone in this book.

“do dogs go to heaven?”
“no.” [...] “heaven is for redeemed sinners. dogs don’t need it. they spend their whole lives in heaven.”

abby williams is veronica mars, minus the pony obsession.

brent and misha are giving me creepy vibes ... what’s your deal, hottie and tryhard?

some of the situations described about abby’s high school experience remind me of why i hated school.

i’m also not sure who to root for. brent? condor? hmm 🤔

there are moments where i feel like abby is a bit try-hard in her descriptions. i still find it hard to put the book down though.

i’m hooked. sometimes i can hear jessica jones, but abby lacks the hard, uncaring, and really brutal edge. she reminds me more of veronica mars. i’m impressed so far. i want to know what happened to kaycee.
