Oh come on... When a friend walks in crying you don't ask her if she had to drink coffee which we were just told (again) that she doesn't like. Is this an American thing? If you get asked for coffee over there are you not allowed to order something other than coffee? Over here going for coffee means enjoying a beverage whilst having a catch up.
