In this book, there are a lot of moments where something that occurs leads to bigger things later on. For Example, Akimi said, "So did you write your extra credit essay?" (Pg 17) and later they worked together and won the game. I would be happy if my friend reminded me of a big thing like this so that I could have a chance to succeed. I can relate because I have reminded friends of things and the outcome was good.

Kyles relationship with Akimi is strong. Akimi helps him and supports him. Akimi asked him, "So did you write your extra credit essay?" This shows that Akimi is trying to help his friend and get him to go to the Lock-in. Kyle end being one of the 12 winners, so she was a big part of why Kyle go to go. This also helped Akimi because it let her go to the Lock-in with her best friend.

Mr. Lemoncello's Library symbolizes that Mr. Lemoncello is very creative and does what is on his mind. At the beginning of the book, there was a flashback of when Mr. L was a kid and showed all of the ideas he had for a dream library. He ended up actually making the library which shows that his ideas weren't just a dream they were a goal for him to make.
