Carries "friends" make like she is in their popular group to plan a big skeim during prom. Chris and her group " X'd the precise spot in the dust" for a moment the Carrie will not forget.

Billy took the cooler of ice and packs of blood out to the football field where they are planing a big prank on Carrie and she is stil not aware of this. Carrie still thinks she is popular and friends with the popular kids, but little does she know she has a big night ahead of her.

Carries mother explains how she met her husband and how her parents met. She also explains what her parents did and where they come from. She tells us how her parents raised her and how she wants to do the same.

Carrie is in the closet praying that her mother will not torture her anymore. And she has flashbacks but finally she breaks, is banging against the door weeping and pleading for freedom.

Carries mom thought that getting a period was a curse from god so Carries mother tortured her, locking her in a closet and making her pray. Her mother also abuses her, Carrie tries to explain to her mom that it is from a natural cause but her mother is so religious she does not believe in anything else besides god.

Carries mom is very over protective and religious. Her room is filled with antiques with Jesus on them and she prays all the time.

This book is very intriguing it tells about Carries past and her family. Carrie is going through a rough time in life, she grew up not knowing what was happening to her body.
