If you've read one Pellegrino book describing Thera, then you've read them all; he repeats himself verbatim in Finding Atlantis and The Ghosts of Vesuvius. However, I am enjoying the description of what happened to the organic matter trapped in the Theran volcanic ash and how it disintegrated.

Pellegrino's dates are off by 200 years and it's driving me nuts.
