Got through the first "strategy." I'm always skeptical of any parenting book that claims to solve a problem: "angelic children can be yours in three easy steps!" but so far this seems like stuff that could work. The Christian POV is one I share but I think that Christians don't have a corner on respect ( far too often the opposite, which pains me) and so far this is just sensible advice, not preachy.

This is good stuff. I'm reading a chapter then trying the tips out on my kids for a few days before I move on. The tip from the last chapter is working surprisingly well. So far at least.
