Reviews original intent of the 95 thesis to spark academic debate on the church's authority to utilize the the treasury of grace as a basis to issue indulgences, and to review the practice of selling indulgences for sins yet to be committed. Instead this might be the first documented impact of the modern press and how the propagation of Luther's arguments went far beyond his and the Church's control.
