Loving the sketches from Shallan that show what plant life and chulls look like. Very cool way to help the reader visualize the world Sanderson is building.

Most books are written in a highly predictable way. This one is not. This one is awesome sauce.

The artwork and maps in this book are impressive. Better quality than what I typically see in a Fantasy novel. Sanderson’s writing in this one seems to be at a higher level than it was in the Mistborn series as well. Off to a great start!
