This book is one of the few I've read that truly stands up to re-reading. Comeuppance has been served; "my dear, I don't give a damn". <- BEST. ENDING. EVER. I still hate Scarlett, I still think Rhett is hardly any better but their story is still compelling. RIP Melly, you were the only decent person in the entire story and you'll be missed.

Got past Atlanta burning; Scarlett and Rhett are still horrible, Ashley is pathetic-once again, Melly is pretty much the only decent person in the main cast if you ask me.
